Description: | Pseudocubic transparent colorless calcite crystals up to 13 mm across on a plate of small colorless quartz crystals up to 2 mm long. Pseudocubic calcite, though common at this quarry, is rare for calcite that normally is rhombic or scalenohedral. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #2534; ex. B. Metzger in 1980 |
