Mineral:Galena with Sphalerite
Locality:Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Metallic gray galena crystal with cubic crystal form and two corners exhibiting octahedral faces (not cleaved). Gemmy red-brown sphalerite crystals are scattered over the faces of the galena. One face the sphalerite crystal is exceptionally beautiful.
