Mineral:Fluorite with Siderite, Quartz, Calcite
Locality:Boltsburn Mine, Weardale, County Durham, England
Description:Glassy violet-brown fluorite crystals up to 5 cm across with brown siderite crystals up to 4 mm across mixed with calcite and quartz on one edge of the fluorite. The fluorite fluoresces under UV illumination. One corner has a triangular cleavage face. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #4487; ex. R.J. King #4.1421
