Mineral:Benstonite on Fluorite with Bitumen
Locality:Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Rhombohedral white benstonite crystals up to 4 mm on translucent cubic yellow fluorite crystals up to 20 mm across with remnants of black bitumen (natural petroleum) in crevices of the fluorite.
Overall Size:7x5x2.5 cm
