Mineral:Fluorite on Sphalerite
Locality:Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Transparent purple cubic fluorite crystals up to 10 mm across perched on one edge of an elongated cluster of lustrous dark brown sphalerite crystals up to 6 mm across. A few corners of the fluorite are chipped and the sphalerite has a few worn edges.
Overall Size:7.5x4x3 cm
