Mineral:Quartz var. Rose and Smoky
Locality:Lavra da Ilha, Taquaral, Jequitinhonha River, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Description:Light-colored smoky quartz core overgrown with second generation rose quartz crystals up to 10 mm long, topped with a third generation of lustrous light-colored smoky quartz crystals up to 15 mm. Rose quartz rarely forms crystals for some unknown reason.
