Locality:Paprok, Kamdesh District, Nuristan Province, Afghanistan
Description:Large single crystal of translucent bi-colored elbaite tourmaline. These are called watermelon tourmalines because they have a green outer zone with pink core. From the side the pink looks slightly brownish because you are viewing through the green rind.
Overall Size:5.5x3x3 cm
