Mineral:Dioptase and Shattuckite
Locality:Omaue, Kaokoveld, Namibia
Description:Colorful cluster of lustrous deep-green translucent dioptase crystals up to 11 mm long in a shallow cavity lined with baby-blue shattuckite microcrystals. The quartz matrix was sawn flat on the bottom so the specimen sits nicely without support.
