Mineral:Andradite-Grossular Garnet
Locality:Trantimou, Kayes Region, Mali
Description:Lustrous interconnected brown-black garnet crystals (either andradite or grossular - both species occur here) with scattered white quartz on the surface. The garnet crystals are dodecahedral form with flat faces and the outer layers are translucent.
Overall Size:6x5x3.5 cm
