Mineral:Andradite-Grossular Garnet
Locality:Trantimou, Kayes Region, Mali
Description:Large lustrous green andradite-almandine garnet crystals with surfaces composed of many smaller, parallel crystal faces. Both garnet species occur at this locality, and the crystals may even be internally zoned from one species to the other.
Overall Size:6x5x5 cm
Crystals:5-32 mm
