Locality:Mashamba West Mine, 13 km west of Kolwezi, Katanga Copperbelt, Lualaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Description:Superb crystal of translucent red cuprite surrounded with fibrous green malachite microcrystals. The cuprites are sharp, octahedral form with clean surfaces and good translucency. One small crystal is incomplete.
