Locality:Virginia Lime and Marble Quarry, 1 mile south of Mountville, Loudoun County, Virginia
Description:Sparkling brown grossular garnet crystals in colorless calcite vein on green matrix with large grossular crystals on one edge. Small green-black platy clinochlore crystals are scattered throughout. Looks beautiful under magnification. Ex. Ned Blandford, originally collected in 1950
