Mineral:Microcline with Zircon
Locality:Poudrette Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Québec, Canada
Description:Two intersecting (possibly twinned) white microcline crystals 10 cm long with the select faces coated with sparkling greenish-brown zircon crystals up to 8 mm long. The microcline was repaired, but the are otherwise superb crystals. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #6751; ex. National Museum of Natural Sciences of Canada
