Locality:Casapalca District, Huarochiri Province, Peru
Description:Triangular plate of translucent yellow-brown sphalerite crystals with lustrous crystal faces. Some areas in the crevices have a matte luster, possibly due to a microcrystal coating. Excellent translucency for this mineral species. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #5110; acquired in 1982
