Description:Large single hexagonal black mica crystal locally still called lepidomelane - an obsolete mineral name for iron-rich mica that could be annite, siderophyllite, tetra-ferri-anilite. The crystal is notably large with slick faces where the mica cleaved. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #1030, collected in 1975
