Description:Compact mass of black birnessite pseudomorphs after prismatic serandite crystals up to 23 mm long with no matrix attached. The birnessite replaced the serandite atom by atom maintaining the crystal form but changing the composition. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #7915; ex. National Museum of Natural Sciences of Canada
