Mineral:Calcite with Amethyst Quartz
Locality:Irai, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
Description:Translucent golden calcite crystals up to 20 mm long overgrown on purple amethyst quartz (visible on the edges) with green celadonite inclusions on the matrix and calcite crystals. The calcite crystals fluoresce under UV illumination.
