Locality:York River Skarn Zone, Bancroft, Ontario, Canada
Description:Translucent orange-red grossular garnet crystals with no matrix attached and a few small green diopside crystals. The grossular garnet crystals formed simultaneously with the surrounding matrix resulting in concave areas in some crystal faces.
