Locality:Freidland, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany
Description:Oblong nodule of brown phosphorite, an obsolete mineral variety that is fluorapatite or Apatite-(CaOH), with shrinkage fractures filled with metallic pyrite. The nodule has gray clay outer surfaces and was polished to highlight the internal patterns.
