Mineral:Azurite and Malachite
Locality:Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico
Description:Lustrous blue azurite crystals up to 10 mm long overgrown on chatoyant fibrous green malachite crystals. This is the best thumbnail-sized azurite specimen I have from this new locality. One azurite crystal has white matrix included in a rear face.
