Mineral:Hydroxylherderite
Locality:Emmons Quarry, southeastern slope of Uncle Tom Mountain, Greenwood, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Muscovite and albite matrix overgrown on one side with large transparent golden brown hydroxylherderite crystals with textured crystal faces. One area has smaller hydroxylherderite crystals that botryoidal (spherical) form.
Overall Size:4x3x2 cm
Crystals:micro to 5 mm
