Description: | Complex cluster of highly lustrous black cassiterite crystals exhibiting repeated twinning with areas of yellow muscovite-lepidolite mica. Looks beautiful under magnification. Cassiterite, an tin-oxide mineral, is rare in the pegmatite cavities of Maine. |
