Locality:Rosiclare District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Translucent deep-purple cubic fluorite crystals with crystals faces composed of many microscopic cubic faces in parallel orientation giving a silky luster. The fluorite color shows well due to good translucency, but is on the dark side. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #191; originally acquired in 1963
