Mineral:Fluorite (twinned crystals) with Galena
Locality:Rogerley Mine, Weardale, County Durham, England
Description:Cluster of many twinned cubic fluorite crystals up to 15 mm across with a 5 mm gray metallic galena crystal nestled between the fluorite. The fluorite crystals are interpenetrant-twinned, transparent green, and fluoresces violet under UV illumination.
