Locality:Force Crag Mine, Braithwaite District, Cumbria, England
Description:Layered formation of quartz overgrown by lustrous black sphalerite crystals up to 8 mm across with a partial overgrowth of red-brown bladed siderite crystals up to 3 mm across. The sphalerite crystals are remarkably transparent, though difficult to see.
