Locality:Roncari Quarry, East Granby, Hartford County, Connecticut
Description:Plate of greenish basalt covered on one side with rhombohedral translucent gray calcite crystals up to 13 mm long with transparent colorless quartz crystals up to 11 mm long. Many of the crystals appear reddish due to hematite coating throughout.
