Locality:Pitts-Tenney Quarry, Minot, Androscoggin County, Maine
Description:Large partial crystals of cinnamon-colored grossular garnet with lustrous crystal faces. This locality always produces half crystals that alter into surrounding grossular-skarn matrix. The crystals on this specimen are quite large for the locality. Ex. Ray Woodman (1927-2021), 1976
