Description:Lustrous prismatic black ilvaite crystals up to 24 mm long intermixed with lustrous translucent gray quartz crystals up to 10 mm long. Many smaller needle-like ilvaite crystals are scattered throughout. Matrix specimens of ilvaite are uncommon. Ex. Robert C. Lambert #538; ex. Viktor Nikifrov collection
