Description:Exceptionally large crystals of heavy cassiterite that are remarkable for their internal translucency. With normal illumination the cassiterite crystals show red to yellow internal translucency. Some crystals have facet-grade areas that are flawless. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #139; ex.
