Mineral:Barite and Dolomite
Locality:Frizington, Cumbria, England
Description:Lustrous yellow-gray barite crystals up to 50 mm long on tan-colored dolomite crystals up to 6 mm. The barite crystals vary from translucent at the base to transparent at the terminations. The rear face of the tall left crystal contacted the matrix. Ex. Robert C. Lambert #89; ex. A.E. Foote (1846-1895)
