Locality:Mawi Pegmatite, Nuristan Province, Afghanistan
Description:Hot-pink elbaite tourmaline crystals (pink variety Rubellite) with lustrous striated prism faces and flat basal pinacoid terminations. The tourmaline crystals vary from transparent to translucent. One crystal has a 1 mm edge chip. Great color! Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #367; acquired in 1984
