Mineral:Fluorite on Rhodochrosite
Locality:Sunnyside Mine, Eureka District, San Juan County, Colorado
Description:Octahedral transparent pale-green fluorite crystals up to 12 mm across perched on a pink rhodochrosite crystal 30 mm high. The rhodochrosite shows a deep pink color on the rear where it cleaved to reveal the inner color. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #433; ex. Schupp collection; acquired in 1998 from P. Megaw
