Description: | Single crystal of gemmy (transparent) aquamarine, the gem variety of the mineral species beryl. The aquamarine crystal is hexagonal form with pinacoid termination modified by secondary faces around the edges. The U. of D. number is painted on one edge. Ex. Robert C.
