Mineral:Spessartine Garnet with Albite
Locality:Skardu District, Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Description:Vertical formation of lustrous wine-red spessartine garnet crystals up to 26 mm across with translucent white albite crystals up to 24 mm across and muscovite mica crystals up to 10 mm. The cluster is fully crystallized all around except on the bottom. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #31; acquired in 1994 from C. Graeber
