Mineral:Fluorite with Chalcopyrite
Locality:Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Cluster of many cubic fluorite crystals with nearly colorless interiors and transparent blue-purple outer layers. Metallic chalcopyrite crystals up to 1 mm across are included on one side. Two crystals have triangular cleavage faces on one corner.
Overall Size:3.5x3x2.5 cm
Crystals:1-15 mm
