Locality:Southern Province, Sri Lanka
Description:Exceptionally large water-worn crystal of sapphire variety of corundum with unusual curvature. Internally the sapphire is nearly colorless and has brownish limonite staining on the surface (can be removed). An enormous crystal for sapphire: 326 grams
