Mineral:Pyrite on Quartz with Hedenbergite inclusions
Locality:Deveti Septemvri Mine, Madan District, Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria
Description:Complex boxwork (possibly pseudomorphous) of slender translucent quartz crystals up to 3 mm long colored green by hedenbergite microscopic inclusions. Scattered throughout are brassy metallic pyritohedral pyrite crystals up to 12 mm across.
