Mineral:Sphalerite (Spinel-law twinned) with Galena and Calcite
Locality:Deveti Septemvri Mine, Madan District, Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria
Description:Complex Spinel-law twinned lustrous black sphalerite crystals up to 12 mm across with gray metallic galena crystals up to 11 mm across with octahedral corner faces. Overgrown throughout are tan-colored translucent calcite microcrystals.
Overall Size:11x7x3.5 cm
