Locality:Richmond Soapstone Quarry, Cheshire County, New Hampshire
Description:Translucent olive-green talc pseudomorphs after prismatic hexagonal cordierite crystals up to 16 mm embedded in quartz matrix. The cordierite crystallized first, then altered to talc but maintaining the original form, possibly with a cordierite core.
