Description:Tapered hexagonal black mica crystal locally known as lepidomelane - an obsolete mineral name for iron-rich mica that could be annite, siderophyllite, tetra-ferri-annite. The crystal has a large with slick, face where the mica cleaved. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #1053, collected in 1975
