Locality:Tecate, Baja California, Mexico
Description:Doubly-terminated translucent brown axinite crystals up to 40 mm long with lustrous black epidote crystals up to 4 mm and tan-colored translucent diopside crystals to 1 mm. The surfaces of the axinite crystals have complex, etched textures throughout.
