Locality:Rosiclare District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Elongated scalenohedral calcite crystals up to 45 mm long overgrown with a second generation of calcite microcrystals. A few of the larger crystals on the right have cleaved tips (the right portion could be trimmed and the cluster would be undamaged). Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #7915; ex. National Museum of Natural Sciences of Canada #71/825 in 1980; acquired from Highlights (Helen Snyder) in 1971 by Lou Moyd
