Description: | Heavy mass of crystallized magnetite, the principle iron ore in the mine, now a Superfund Cleanup Site. The old label identifies the specimen as hematite, but it is magnetic indicating it is at least partially magnetite. Ex. Upsala College; ex. Whalen |
