Locality:Wah Wah Mountains, Beaver County, Utah
Description:Large red-violet crystal of bixbite, the rare red variety of beryl, with white rhyolite matrix on the base. The beryl crystal is hexagonal form, has smooth crystal faces, and is translucent. The rear is incomplete where it was attached to matrix.
