Mineral:Fluorite on Quartz with Chalcopyrite
Locality:Naica District, Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico
Description:Transparent purple fluorite crystals up to 8 mm across on milky quartz crystals up to 10 mm long. The fluorite crystals are cubic form with dodecahedral edge faces and the outermost zones are purple. Minor chalcopyrite microcrystals throughout.
