Locality:Ray Mine, Mineral Creek District, Pinal County, Arizona
Description:Fine hair-like red cuprite crystals on greenish matrix. This variety of cuprite is known as chalcotrichite. Remnants of styrofoam are glue to the bottom where it was previously mounted on base, but cannot be soaked off because it will ruin the cuprite.
Overall Size:5x3x3 cm
Crystals:1-4 mm
