Description: | Lustrous black andradite garnet crystals up to 6 mm across on serpentine matrix with green microcrystals of an unknown mineral, probably clinochlore. The large crystal on the edge has a contact on the outer corner where it intersected the matrix. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #2299; originally acquired in 1979 |
