Description: | Highly lustrous black babingtonite crystals up to 4 mm across on basalt matrix with translucent green prehnite and colorless calcite. The babingtonite crystals are sharp and well formed. This species is highly sought-after by local collectors. Ex. John H. Marshall (1931-2008) |
