Mineral:Barite with Malachite
Locality:Grandview Mine, Coconino County, Arizona
Description:Transparent bladed barite crystals (rare!) up to 4 mm across with scattered overgrowth of fibrous green malachite microcrystals in spherical aggregates. A light-green unidentified mineral is present too, possibly aurichalcite or chalcoalumite.
Overall Size:5.5x3.5x3 cm
