Locality:Frizington, Cumbria, England
Description:Doubly-terminated lustrous translucent blue barite crystals up to 40 mm long on crystallized translucent brown siderite crystals to 2.5 mm. The barite crystals are mostly blue, but have brown chisel-shaped terminations. Collected ca. 1890
